RAJAHMUNDRY: The Telugu Desam Party’s manifesto for the municipal polls has promised to make Rajahmundry a Mega City with all basic amenities in place such as minimum 6 hours of drinking water supply, sanitation, health and education, permanent under-drainage system , power generation through garbage units, solid waste management plant and so on.

The leaders said that they were going to organise the Godavari Pushkarams on the lines of Kumbh Mela.

The TDP council, if voted to power, would develop all roads and construct flyovers on the NH-5 for smooth flow of traffic, the said, adding that they would construct separate modernised public toilets for men and women.
