Officers asked to build home toilets

RAUTAHAT:In a bid to declare the district ‘Open-Defecation Free’ by next year, some government offices in Rautahat have started issuing written orders to their employees to immediately build toilets in their houses if they lack such basic amenities or lose all their facilities.


The District Post Office, Rautahat has taken an initiation by writing to its postman Brija Kishor Mishra to construct a toilet in his house.


After learning that his house lacks this basic facility, Mishra has been warned that the facilities he has been enjoying will be stopped if he doesn’t furnish his house with a latrine within seven days. Mishra said he will build a toilet in his house within the time-frame set by his office. Read More....
