4,964 toilets to be built in Fatehabad

FATEHABAD: The authorities in Fatehabad have set a target of constructing toilets in 4,964 house under the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan. Speaking to mediapersons after reviewing the progress of Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan in the district, Deputy Commissioner DK Bahera said the authorities had already achieved the 73 per cent of the target and built toilets in 3,636 houses.

 

Bahera said the authorities had set a target of constructing 449 and 549 toilets in schools and anganwadis of the district, respectively. So far, toilets have been set up in 127 schools and 113 anganwadis, he said.

 

The DC said the authorities would spend Rs 7.80 crore in the district under the project. Out of this, Rs 2.64 crore had been already spent. Read More....
