The Hindu, 05 July 2014

CHENNAI: The Pallavapuram Municipality recently inaugurated a ‘Namma Toilet’ near the eastern side of the Chromepet bus stop.

A toilet was earlier functioning in an old building for the convenience of commuters and the general public. The first 'Namma toilet' was built at Tambaram Bus Terminus in February 2013. The washroom facility received an enthusiastic response from the general public for its good maintenance, proper ventilation, adequate supply of water and lighting. A similar facility is coming up at Keezhkatalai Bus Terminus and it will be thrown open for the public soon. Read more....
