Voices Ghana launches sanitation programme at Jamestown

Voices Ghana, child rights-based, community development organisation, has launched a project dubbed: “Brethren again,” in Jamestown, a sprawling fishing community in Accra, to tackle the mounting sanitation problem in the area.

 

The project, an empowerment model, founded by one Ahmeda Mansaray-Richardson, will help the people of Jamestown to improve their well-being by ultimately working towards their ideal picture of a developed and healthy community.

 

Reverend Father Christopher Armah, Priest Assistant, Saint Mary’s Anglican Church Accra, who officially launched the project, said the youth should extend their focus to schools in the community where pupils leave rubbish scattered, after school. Read more....
