NEW DELHI: Residents of north Delhi will soon be able to send in their sanitation complaints, including pictures of piles of garbage or clogged drains, on a WhatsApp helpline.
The North Delhi Municipal Corporation is preparing a range of long-term measures to deal with sanitation issues, while a 100-day cleanliness drive is under way.
Environment Management Services Committee chairperson Vijay Prakash Pandey on Tuesday said, “In the next two or three months, we will start a WhatsApp helpline so that residents could send in their complaints. We will resolve their issues and send them photos within 24 hours.” Read more....
