Toilets' data not given by 43 districts: MP education department

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh not only lags way behind in availability of toilets to children of government schools across the state, officials also don't seem to be interested in providing details of the status of toilets in government schools.

 

Authorities of only seven districts in the state have furnished information about status of toilets in schools of these districts till date even after chief minister's instructions to furnish these details by September 6.

 

Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan issued instructions after PM Narendra Modi made an emphatic speech for on Independence Day this year about lack of toilets posing as a big problem for girl child's education in India. Read more....
