The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) has decided to adopt one village each in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for undertaking the implementation of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’.
Cleanliness and sanitation of the two villages would be taken care of by the women entrepreneurs’ body. The announcement was made at the inaugural session of the two-day Women’s International Summit for Entrepreneurship (WISE), here on Saturday.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Governor of Goa Mridula Sinha said that women were special to society. They need special care, education, security and healthcare as they are required to do special things for the society, she stated. Read more....
