Under the Centre’s Swachh Bharat mission, the Capital’s municipal corporations are inviting public sector undertakings and private companies to adopt facilities in order to improve them.
The civic bodies want companies to take over parks, adopt toilets complexes and provide better sanitation facilities, including putting up dustbins across the city.
The South and East civic bodies will be floating a similar expression of interest this week. South Delhi Municipal Corporation Commissioner Manish Gupta said on Monday that companies would be invited to either fund infrastructure or build facilities and transfer them to the civic body. Read more....
