Taking their cue from the week-long cleanliness drive under the Swachh Haryana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the residents’ welfare associations from DLF Phase I-V and the residents launched a Swachh City Campaign.
The campaign, which will have special focus on the urbanised villages around DLF areas, was initiated at DLF Phase-II here on Sunday by the RWAs members and the residents wielding brooms and taking a pledge to keep the city clean.
Present on the occasion, DLF City RWA secretary-general Sudhir Kapoor said: “We believe the citizens have a role to play in building a cleaner India and this drive is a step in the direction of strengthening our commitment towards the cause. Swachh City is directed towards inspiring our residents to perform their duties as responsible citizens.” Read more....
